Production of potatoes in Cabo Verde is predicted to fall by 4.5% year-on-year and reach 1,810 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, production has grown by 3.4% each year. The country was 135th in the world rankings in 2021, behind New Caledonia, which produced 2,370 metric tons. India, Russia and Ukraine were the world's top three producers.
