Sri Lanka is projected to produce 113,380 metric tons of potatoes in 2026, up from 101,830 metric tons in 2021. This is a 1.8% year-on-year growth rate since 1966. It ranked 103rd in 2021, with the Democratic Republic of the Congo ahead at 101,830 metric tons. India, Russia and Ukraine were the second, third and fourth largest producers, respectively.
