Thailand's potato consumption is expected to reach 221,000 metric tons by 2026, up a slight 0.1% year-on-year. The country's demand has dropped 0.5% year-on-year since 2017 and it ranked 79th in 2021. Latvia came out on top with 220,000 metric tons. India, the US and Russia took 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Thailand's potato production is estimated to grow 0.7% year-on-year to 129,440 metric tons by 2026. Supply has risen 0.8% year-on-year since 1966, but the country lagged behind Cuba in 2021. India, Russia and Ukraine occupied the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots in the ranking.
