Qatari potato production is on the rise. It is projected to reach 90.6 metric tons by 2026, up from 78 metric tons in 2021. This is an average year-on-year growth rate of 2.5%, similar to the growth rate since 1976. Qatar ranked 151st in 2021, behind Eritrea which had 78 metric tons. India, Russia and Ukraine followed, respectively taking 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
