Fijians' consumption of potatoes is expected to remain the same in the next five years, staying at 24 thousand metric tons by 2026. This puts the country at 121st in the world rankings, just behind Cyprus. India, the USA, and Russia ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, Fijian potato production decreased dramatically by 51.9% compared to 2020, with only 16 metric tons produced in 2021. This is a 43% decrease since 1966, putting the country at 153rd in the world rankings, just behind Bahrain. India, Russia, and Ukraine ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
