Mozambique's cashew production is expected to reach nearly 130,000 metric tons by 2026. The country has seen an average year-on-year growth of 1.5% since 1966. In 2021, Mozambique was the 13th largest producer of cashew nuts in the world, behind Brazil, India, Burundi and Vietnam. India, Burundi and Vietnam were the second, third and fourth largest producers respectively.
