Brazil is set to remain the world's second-largest cashew producer, according to a new report. The report indicates that by 2026, Brazil will produce nearly 139,000 metric tons of cashews. This is up from 137,500 metric tons in 2021, representing a 0.2 percent year-on-year growth rate. Since 1966, cashew production in Brazil has risen by 13 percent each year. In 2021, the country was number 12 in the global rankings, overtaken by Indonesia with 137,500 metric tons. India, Burundi and Vietnam were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
