Tanzanian cashew production is set to reach just over 312,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country produced around 270,500 metric tons, a 2.5% increase year-on-year. Since 1966, Tanzania's supply of cashews has grown by an average of 11.7% each year. The country ranked 5th that year, with Vietnam coming in first at 270,500 metric tons. India, Burundi and Vietnam were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
