Honduras' cashew production is on the rise. It is expected to reach 2,200 metric tons by 2026 - up from 2,130 in 2021 - at an average annual growth rate of 0.6%. This follows a 0.7% year-on-year growth since 1991. In 2021, Honduras was ranked 28th in the world. Angola overtook them with 2,130 metric tons, and India, Burundi and Vietnam came in second, third and fourth, respectively.
