Filipinas are set to be the sixth largest supplier of cashews in 2026, according to latest forecast figures. The country's production has grown steadily since 1966, at an average rate of 2.4% year on year. In 2021, it reached 295,540 metric tons, up from 256,830 metric tons the previous year. India, Burundi and Vietnam respectively took positions two, three and four in the ranking. Tanzania was the highest producer with 256,830 metric tons.
