Rwanda's peanut consumption is projected to reach 29,000 metric tons by 2026, up from 27,000 metric tons in 2021. That's an average annual growth rate of 1.4%. Since 2017, Rwandan demand has grown at a rate of 1.3% a year. The country was in 63rd place in 2021, with the Republic of Congo ahead at 27,000 metric tons. India, Nigeria and the United States were the top three countries in the rankings. Rwanda's peanut production is estimated to reach 24,170 metric tons by 2026, up from 21,300 metric tons in 2021. An average annual growth rate of 2.2% is expected. Since 1966, Rwandan supply has grown at an average rate of 13.6% a year. The country was in 53rd place in 2021, with Cambodia ahead at 21,300 metric tons. India, Nigeria and the United States were the top three countries in the rankings.
