Kyrgyz peanut consumption is expected to reach 1,000 metric tons by 2026, up slightly from 2021 when it was also 1,000 metric tons. Since 2020, Kyrgyz demand has remained stable, and the country was number 118 in 2021. Albania was first, with 1,000 metric tons, followed by India, Nigeria and the United States, which were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Kyrgyz peanut production is projected to reach nearly 600 metric tons by 2026, up from 498 metric tons in 2021. This is a 3.1% year-on-year increase since 1997, when Kyrgyz supply rose by 16.7%. The country was number 90 in 2021, with Spain ahead at 498 metric tons. India, Nigeria and the United States, respectively, were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking.
