Meanwhile, peanut production is expected to reach 23,100 metric tons by 2026, a drop of 0.5% on an annual basis since 2021. Currently, Ecuador holds the highest production level with 23,800 metric tons, followed by India, Nigeria, and the United States in that order. Since 1966, production has seen a consistent decrease of 0.9% annually.
