In 2021, Burkinabe consumption was 399,000 metric tons, placing the country 14th in the global ranking. Tanzania came in ahead with the same amount of consumption, while India, Nigeria and the United States were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Burkinabe peanut production is set to reach 420,150 metric tons by 2026. This represents a 1.1% increase each year since 1966. In 2021, Burkinabe production was 393,350 metric tons, placing the country 17th in the global ranking. Mali came in ahead with the same amount of production, while India, Nigeria and the United States were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
