Peanut consumption in Ivory Coast is set to increase to 214,000 metric tons by 2026, up almost 5% since 2017. In 2021, Zambia overtook Ivory Coast to become the 25th-largest consumer, with 192,000 metric tons. India, Nigeria and the United States were the top three countries in terms of peanut consumption. Domestically, Ivory Coast peanut production is forecast to reach 192,000 metric tons by 2026, a 1.7% increase since 1966. In 2021, Uganda was ahead of Ivory Coast, producing 174,000 metric tons.
