Greek peanut consumption is set to remain unchanged at 21,000 metric tons through 2026. Since 2017, demand has grown by 1.6% each year. Greece ranked 70th in the world in 2021, with Peru coming in at number 69 with 21,000 metric tons. India, Nigeria and the United States were the top three countries in this ranking. Meanwhile, Greek peanut production is projected to grow 2.5% annually to reach 5,830 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, the supply has increased 4.8% a year. In 2021, Greece placed 73rd, with Peru ranking one spot ahead at 5,020 metric tons. India, Nigeria and the United States again took the top three spots in this ranking.
