Russians are set to consume more peanuts in the coming years. The demand is expected to reach 225,000 metric tons by 2026, growing by 1.5% each year. Since 2017, the yearly growth has been 1.3%. In 2021, Russia came in 23rd place in the world peanut consumption rankings. Benin topped the list, while India, Nigeria and the United States placed second, third and fourth respectively.
