Ecuador was ahead of Iran in 2021 with the same amount of consumption. India, Nigeria, and the United States respectively took the top three places in the ranking. Meanwhile, Iran's peanut production is forecast to reach nearly 18 thousand metric tons by 2026. This is a 1.1% annual growth since 2021, when the country was 55th with 16,780 metric tons. Haiti was ahead of Iran in 2021 with the same amount of production. India, Nigeria, and the United States respectively held the top three spots in the ranking.
