Since 1966, production has decreased by 6.6% year-on-year. In 2021, Mauritius overtook the country to rank 96th, while India, Nigeria and the US respectively rank 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Consumption of Cypriot peanuts reached 2 thousand metric tons in 2018, up from 2 thousand metric tons in 2017.
