Since the turn of the century, Korea's seafood supply has seen a steady increase of 0.8% per year. In 2023, Korea held the 10th position in global seafood exports. Japan surpassed Korea with exports totaling $1.54 billion. The top three positions in the ranking were occupied by India, Canada, and Denmark, respectively.
