Consumption of Chilean fish is predicted to reach 87.59 thousand metric tons by 2026, with an average yearly growth of 0.3%. This is a decrease of 1.4% compared to 2017. Chile is the 43rd largest consumer of fish in 2021, behind the United Arab Emirates (84.7 thousand metric tons). Japan, the Philippines and the United States are ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
