Algerian salmon imports are projected to reach nearly 100,000kg by 2026. This marks a 4.4% average year-on-year growth since 2021, when imports totalled 75,830kg. This was enough to place Algeria at number 70 in the global rankings, ahead of the Dominican Republic. Poland, the United States and France followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Since 2004, Algerian salmon demand has risen 13.5% year on year.
