Argentina’s frozen fish import is expected to drop 2.3% to nearly $1.9 million by 2026. This follows an increase of 9.1% since 1998. In 2021, the country was ranked 112th, with Samoa ahead at $2.2 million. Japan, Thailand, and South Korea held positions 2, 3, and 4 respectively. Meanwhile, export of Argentinian frozen fish is forecast to rise 0.2% to $228 million by 2026. This follows a decline of 2.1% since 1998. In 2021, Argentina ranked 23rd, with Iran taking the lead at $225.5 million. Russia, the US, and Chile respectively occupied second, third and fourth places.
