Burkinabe frozen fish imports are set to reach $19 million by 2026, growing at a rate of 3.2% year on year. Since 2000, the country has seen a 9.6% year on year rise in demand. In 2021, Burkinabe was ranked number 80, falling behind Oman with $16 million. Japan, Thailand and South Korea were the top three countries in the ranking. Burkinabe frozen fish exports, however, dropped by 68% compared to 2017, falling from $92 million to $29 million in 2018. Since 2005, the country has seen a 46.2% decrease in supply year on year.
