Italian frozen fish exports are expected to drop by 5.4% annually, on average, to reach $10.3 million in 2026. This decrease follows a 2.2% year-on-year decline since 1999. In 2021, the country was ranked 55th, behind Croatia at $14.2 million. Russia, the US and Chile were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively. Italian frozen fish imports, meanwhile, are projected to grow at a 0.7% year-on-year average to reach $389 million in 2026. This follows a 2.4% year-on-year increase since 1999. In 2021, Italy was ranked 16th, behind the Netherlands at $372 million. Japan, Thailand and South Korea were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
