Iran's frozen fish exports are projected to reach $320 million by 2026, up from $255 million in 2021. The country has seen an average annual growth of 6.8% over the past 19 years. Iran ranked 22nd in 2021, overtaken by Mauritania's $255 million. Russia, the US and Chile ranked second, third and fourth respectively in the same ranking. Meanwhile, Iran's frozen fish imports are expected to reach $101 million in 2026, up 1.3% on the 2021 figure of $94 million. The country has seen an average annual decline of 3% since 2002. Iran was 39th in 2021, with Benin ahead at $94 million. Japan, Thailand and South Korea were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
