Oman's frozen fish export is set to reach $134 million by 2026, up 3.3% year on year, according to figures from 2021. The Philippines topped the rankings with $110 million, while Russia, the United States and Chile ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Oman's frozen fish import is predicted to hit $18 million by 2026, with a 1.8% year on year growth. The country ranked 79th in 2021, behind Azerbaijan's $16 million. Japan, Thailand and South Korea placed second, third and fourth in the rankings. Since 1994, Omani demand has dipped 4.6% year on year.
