Batswana imports of processed fish dropped 19.2% in 2021, compared to 2020. This marks the 16.8% decrease in demand since 2005. Kyrgyzstan overtook Batswana to become the number 102 in the ranking, as Italy, France and Spain respectively took the top three spots. Batswana exports of processed fish increased 4,080% in 2018, compared to 2017. This 82.1% rise since 2005 saw the country take the 89th spot in the ranking, with Trinidad and Tobago coming in ahead. Thailand, Slovenia and Spain followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
