Global processed fish exports are expected to reach 721 million kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 0.8% each year on average since 2021, when exports totalled 688 million kilograms. Since 2016, global supply has risen by 1.7% each year. China is number one in processed fish exports, with 236 million kilograms in 2021. Thailand, Slovenia and Spain make up the rest of the top four. Moldova was the highest year-on-year grower with a 301.7% increase since 2016, while Pakistan saw a 46.7% decrease over the same period.
