In 2021, Ivorian processed fish import totalled 13,360 kilograms, a 30.1% decrease from the 19,100 kilograms imported in 2020. This marks a 39% drop since 2000. Antigua and Barbuda overtook the Ivorian ranking by importing 13,360 kilograms in 2021, while Italy, France and Spain came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. In 2018, Ivorian processed fish export decreased 37.3% from the 26,650 kilograms exported in 2017, to 16,700 kilograms. This marks a 6% decrease since 2000. Switzerland overtook the Ivorian ranking by exporting 16,700 kilograms in 2018, with Thailand, Slovenia and Spain following at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
