This figure is expected to grow 1.6% each year on average, reaching 164.95 million metric tons by 2026. Since 1976, Algerian demand has been increasing by an average of 3.1% annually. The United States, India and Russia follow Algeria in the global ranking, taking the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
