Ethiopian imports of pasta are set to reach $81 million by 2026, up 3.2% each year on average. Since 2000, the demand for pasta in Ethiopia has grown 6.5% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 28th globally for pasta imports, with the Czech Republic ahead at $67 million. Germany, France, and the UK came in second, third, and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, exports of Ethiopian pasta dropped from $371 million in 2015 to $296 million in 2016.
