Mauritius is set to see an increase in its pasta export and import by 2026. Exports are predicted to reach around $22 million, up 2.8% year on year on average. This follows a 7.9% growth since 1998. In 2021, Mauritius was ranked 49th in the list of pasta exporters, just behind Kazakhstan. China, South Korea and Thailand came in second, third and fourth. Imports are expected to reach $6.4 million, growing 2.1% year on year. This figure has increased by 3.8% since 1998. In 2021, Mauritius was ranked 103rd in the list of pasta importers, just behind Uruguay. Germany, France and the United Kingdom were the top three importers.
