Brazilian pasta exports are forecast to reach $8.5 million by 2026, down 2% year-on-year. This follows a downward trend since 1994, with a 1.9% average annual decline. In 2021, Brazil ranked 60th in the world for pasta exports, with Pakistan overtaking at $9.6 million. China, South Korea and Thailand were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Meanwhile, Brazilian pasta imports are expected to grow 1.7% year-on-year, reaching $44.1 million by 2026. Since 1994, demand for imports has risen 7.2% annually. In 2021, Brazil ranked 39th in the world, with Indonesia ahead at $39.9 million. Germany, France and the United Kingdom were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
