Australian pasta exports have plummeted by more than half in 2021, with the total value reaching $1.1 million - a drop of 50.9% compared to 2020. This is the lowest value recorded since 1993, when exports came to 34.1% less than the previous year. Australia came in at 83rd in this ranking, with Jamaica ahead of them at $1.1 million. China, South Korea, and Thailand took the top three spots. Meanwhile, imports of pasta products to Australia are expected to reach $314.6 million by 2026, a 2.3% growth rate year on year since 2021. This follows a 7.8% growth rate since 1993. China led the rankings with $271.2 million, with Germany, France, and the United Kingdom in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
