Bermudian pasta import and export is set to grow over the next five years. Import of pasta to Bermuda is forecast to hit $1.7 million by 2026, representing a 0.4% year-on-year growth from 2021's $1.7 million. Since 2015, the country has seen a 1.5% annual increase in demand. Bermuda was 124th in the global ranking for pasta imports in 2021, overtaken by Suriname at $1.7 million. Germany, France and the UK respectively held the second, third and fourth spots in the ranking. Export of pasta from Bermuda is expected to increase to $30,710 by 2026, with a 3.2% year-on-year growth from 2021's $25,220. Since 2017, the country's supply has grown by 3.5% annually. Tanzania overtook Bermuda in the global ranking for pasta exports in 2021, with the country coming in at 111th place. China, South Korea and Thailand followed in second, third and fourth positions. Overall, pasta import and export to and from Bermuda is anticipated to increase over the next five years.
