Thailand's coffee consumption is forecast to reach 51,000 metric tons by 2026, a 3.5% average annual increase since 2017. The country was 39th in the world in 2021, with Guatemala at 38th with 42,000 metric tons. Brazil, Germany and Japan were second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Thailand's coffee production is expected to drop to 318,420 bags of 60 kilograms by 2026, a 5.5% annual decrease since 1995. The country was 21st in the world in 2021, with Laos at 20th with 441,020 bags. Vietnam, Colombia and Indonesia were second, third and fourth, respectively.
