The US is the top consumer, at 1.5 million metric tons, followed by Brazil, Germany, and Japan. Since 2017, Uzbekistan has seen the greatest surge in demand, with a 14.5% increase. In contrast, Montenegro's consumption has decreased by 9.1%. Global supply is projected to reach 189.7 million bags of 60 kg by 2026, a 1.2% increase from 2021. Since 1995, production has grown 2% each year. Brazil is the top producer, with 64 million bags, followed by Vietnam, Colombia, and Indonesia. Togo has witnessed the most growth in production since 1995, at 21.7%, while Ghana has experienced a 16.5% decrease.
