Malagasy glass fiber imports are set to grow by 5% annually in the coming years, reaching 2.17 million kilograms by 2026. This is a dramatic increase from 1995, when imports were just 1.61 million kilograms, representing a 62.7% year-on-year jump. Exports of Malagasy glass fiber are expected to reach 4,660 kilograms by 2026, an average year-on-year increase of 4%. Since 2003, the country's supply has grown by 64.2%. In 2021, Malagasy glass fiber exports came in at 81st place, behind The Bahamas at 3,670 kilograms. Belgium, Germany and Saudi Arabia were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
