Indonesian glass fiber import is set to increase by 1.3% year on year, reaching 4.5 million kilograms by 2026. This is up from the 4.2 million kilograms imported in 2021. Since 1994, Indonesian demand has grown by an average of 4.7% year on year. Indonesian glass fiber export is set to decline by 0.4% year on year, reaching 99,000 kilograms by 2026. This is down from 101,600 kilograms exported in 2021. Since 1995, Indonesian supply has decreased by an average of 1.6% year on year. In 2021, Indonesia ranked 51st in global exports with Ecuador overtaking at 101,600 kilograms. Belgium, Germany and Saudi Arabia respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
