Greek imports of glass fiber are set to drop significantly by 2026. The latest figures show that imports are projected to reach 144,370 kilograms in 2026, down from 439,590 kilograms in 2021. That's an average annual decrease of 18.1%. Since 1993, Greek demand for glass fiber has decreased by 2.1% year on year. Exports of glass fiber from Greece are also declining. They are estimated to reach 22,850 kilograms in 2026, down from 30,990 kilograms in 2021, a decrease of 5.1% year on year on average. Since 1993, Greek supply has decreased by 1.9% year on year. In 2021, Greece ranked 65th in global glass fiber exports. Peru was ahead, exporting 30,990 kilograms. Belgium, Germany and Saudi Arabia were respectively second, third and fourth in the ranking.
