Lithuania is set to see a rise in glass fiber export and import over the next five years. Export of glass fiber from Lithuania is anticipated to reach 26 million kg by 2026, an increase of 4.4% year-on-year on average. Since 1999, exports have grown by 7.5% annually. In 2021, the country was ranked 10th, with Egypt coming out on top at 19.8 million kg, followed by Belgium, Germany and Saudi Arabia in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, imports of glass fiber into Lithuania are expected to reach 923,000 kg by 2026, up 2% from 2021. Since 1999, demand has declined by 0.7% year on year. Overall, the outlook for Lithuania's glass fiber market is positive, with both exports and imports set to rise over the next five years.
