Malawian imports of molded plastics decreased by 2.2% in 2021, falling to 2,510 kilograms from 2,560 kilograms in 2020. Since 1995, demand for molded plastics in Malawi has risen by nearly 10%. Malawi ranked 90th in the world in 2021, while Luxembourg had the highest imports of molded plastics at 2,510 kilograms. Germany, Japan, and Nigeria were the next three countries in the ranking.
