Maltese demand for molding imports totalled 1,880 kilograms in 2018, an increase of 31.2% from the 1,430 kilograms imported in 2017. Since 2005, however, demand has decreased by 22.7% year on year. In 2018, Maltese imports of molding ranked 92nd in the world. Swaziland overtook Malta as the leading importer of molding, with 1,880 kilograms. Germany, Japan and Nigeria came in second, third and fourth respectively.
