In 2018, Latvian Molding Import fell by 51.3%, totalling 1,840 Kilograms. This placed it at 94th in the international ranking, behind Brunei. Germany, Japan and Nigeria came in at 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Meanwhile, Latvian Molding Export saw a 216.6% surge over the year, reaching 994 Kilograms. This put it at 58th in the international ranking, behind Macedonia. The Czech Republic, Croatia and China followed at 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Compared to 2000, Latvian demand has decreased by 34.3%, while supply has dropped 13%.
