Romanian molding exports are set to reach 414,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 361,000 kilograms in 2021. This 2.3% year-on-year growth rate has been consistent since 1996. In 2021, Romania was ranked 14th in the world, behind the UAE in first place with 361,000 kilograms. The Czech Republic, Croatia and China followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. On the import side, Romania is projected to reach 681,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 613,000 kilograms in 2021. This 1.8% average year-on-year growth has been declining since 1998. In 2021, the Philippines overtook Romania, which was then ranked 12th in the world. Germany, Japan and Nigeria followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
