Kazakhstan's maize consumption is projected to grow 1% annually to reach 24,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country was ranked 110th in the world, slightly behind Cape Verde. India, China and Indonesia took the top three spots in the ranking. Kazakhstan's production of maize is also set to increase 2.4% yearly, reaching 1.1 million metric tons by 2026. Since 1997, the country's supply has grown 4.6% each year. In 2021, it was placed 64th, edged out by Togo. China, Brazil and Argentina came in first, second and third in the ranking.
