Croatia's maize production is set to jump by 1.7% year on year, according to recent data. The country is projected to produce 2.5 million metric tons by 2026, up from 2.3 million metric tons in 2021. This puts Croatia at number 42 in the global ranking. China, Brazil and Argentina are the top three countries for maize production, respectively producing 43.4, 34.7 and 24.8 million metric tons in 2021. This marks a steady increase since 1966, when global maize production saw an average growth of 1.7% year on year.
