The demand for maize in Ivory Coast is set to grow by 1.7% year on year to reach 789,000 metric tons by 2026. Last year, the country consumed 712,000 metric tons of maize. Thailand was the top producer in 2021, with India, China and Indonesia taking the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Ivory Coast's production of maize is set to rise by 2.2% year on year and reach 1,322,100 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, the country's output has grown by 3.8% year on year. Belarus overtook Ivory Coast in 2021, producing 1,162,500 metric tons, while China, Brazil and Argentina took the second, third and fourth spots, respectively.
