Slovak maize production is expected to reach 1.6 million metric tons by 2026, up 1.5% from 2021. Production has been declining since 1998, falling 2.5% year-on-year. Last year, Slovakia ranked 53rd, with Ecuador ahead at 1.5 million metric tons. China, Brazil and Argentina ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
